COPPA specifies the privacy policy elements that a website operator must include,
when and how to require verifiable consent from a child's guardian,
and the operator's responsibilities for protecting the online safety and privacy of children.

- Traffic generated naturally through Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
"Organic" or "Natural" SEO is accomplished in several ways, including web page optimization
and link popularity build-up. Search Engines assign high page ranks to optimized pages
for relevant search terms and display them at the top of the search results.
- P3P
- The Platform for Privacy Preferences. A protocol allowing DNMSs to declare their intended use of information they collect about browsing users. Designed to give users more control of their personal information when browsing, P3P was developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and officially recommended on April 16, 2002.
- Pharming
- Redirecting a the traffic of a website to a bogus website, perhaps by tampering with DNS servers. Typically done to facilitate phishing (see Phishing below).
- Phishing
- Attempting to deceive web users into providing information such as user names, passwords, social security numbers, and credit card numbers. Typically done by fraudulent e-mails or bogus websites (see Pharming above).
- Pop-under
- A pop-under is a web page put in a window underneath the existing browser windows, so it is
seen when the browser windows are closed, instead of immediately after the triggering web page.
